Medios AG is closing the facility of its wholly owned subsidiary, Medios Solutions Aschaffenburg GmbH, and consolidating patient-specific manufacturing at its remaining locations in Germany.
The business of patient-specific formulations is under sustained margin pressure due to price regulatory adjustments, and the Aschaffenburg site had been operating at below-average profitability with declining capacity utilization. Structural renovation work required at the site accelerated the decision.
The measure affects 32 employees, for whom Medios is seeking to provide fair compensation.
Production has already been relocated, and the closure is part of the company’s Operational Excellence Program announced on June 29, 2026.
