The five-day course included 33 participants from seven countries and 16 international faculty members.

The training included classroom instruction, live surgical demonstrations, and hands-on training using the SSi Mantra surgical robotic system.

SSICRS plans to expand its educational offerings with additional condensed training programs covering multiple surgical specialties such as urology, gynecology, thoracic, colorectal, gastrointestinal, and general surgery.

The training center combines modern lecture facilities, advanced simulation labs, tele-proctoring, and online learning modules.

The SSi Mantra is a surgical robotic system developed by SS Innovations, used in the training program and designed to make robotic surgery more affordable and accessible.
