CCI France Malaysia Gala Night 2025: Key Information and Insights

The Gala Night served as a platform to celebrate the Malaysian-French business community, reflect on the enduring economic partnership between France and Malaysia, and recognize shared achievements while looking ahead to new opportunities in bilateral trade.

The event was held on 13th November 2025 at The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.

The event was hosted by CCI France Malaysia and welcomed over 400 guests including Datuk Zainal Amanshah and Mr Richard Fostier (CCIFM leadership), Mr. Olivier Sigaud (French Embassy), and Guest of Honor YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz (Minister of Investment, Trade & Industry).

France has a substantial economic footprint in Malaysia with over 600 French entities operating locally, providing employment to about 30,000 people and contributing an accumulated turnover of RM20 billion to the Malaysian economy.

The award recipients included: TotalEnergies EP Malaysia (Outstanding Achievements – Large Company), Sophia Engineering Malaysia (Outstanding Achievements – SME), Asiance (Entrepreneur of the Year), Cultural Impact (Corporate Social Responsibility), Botanickel Sabah & the State of Sabah (France-Malaysia Smart Partnership), and Sunway Le Cordon Bleu (Image of France).

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's official visit to Paris reaffirmed strong diplomatic and economic ties, followed by a business delegation of 29 French companies organized by Business France and MEDEF International to advance bilateral cooperation.

Key partners included TotalEnergies, Air Liquide, Airbus, Arkema, BNP Paribas, Botanickel, Cegos, Club Med, Engie, L'Oréal, Safran, Saint Gobain, SeaOwl Group, STMicroelectronics, Technip Energies, CMA CGM, JLL, Michelin, Rotortrade, Société Générale, and Veolia.

The evening featured performances by renowned artists Jaclyn Victor, Douglas Lim, Psycusix, and Charity Goh, with signature cocktails and beverages provided by Monin and the Pernod Ricard group.
