Cherry SE Auditor Change: Court Appoints KPMG as New Statutory Auditor

Cherry SE has appointed KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft as its new statutory auditor for the audit of the annual financial statements and consolidated financial statements for the 2025 financial year, following a court decision granting the Supervisory Board's request.

The previous auditor, RSM Ebner Stolz AG, declined to accept the audit engagement for the 2025 financial year, as announced in an ad hoc announcement in November 2025.

The court granted the Supervisory Board's request to appoint KPMG, making the appointment official and timely to ensure continuity of the audit process.

Key parties include Cherry SE's management (CFO Jurjen Jongma), the Supervisory Board (Deputy Chairman James Burns), the court that approved the appointment, the previous auditor RSM Ebner Stolz AG, and the new auditor KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft.

KPMG will audit the financial statements for the 2025 financial year, with the court decision announced on January 21, 2026.

According to CFO Jurjen Jongma, KPMG brings the highest reputation and expertise to accompany Cherry SE's development, providing a robust and future-proof foundation for financial statement audits. Deputy Chairman James Burns adds that it supports the Audit Committee in reviewing financial reporting and monitoring tasks.
