Families consistently asked for milk and dairy products, but the pantry lacked proper cold storage to safely provide them. The dedicated cooler fills this critical gap, enhancing their ability to serve hundreds of families each month with nourishing food.
The cooler will allow safe storage of dairy products such as milk, cheese, yogurt, and other nutritious staples. The donation was fully stocked with Mayfield milk.
Each month, families receive a food bag with approximately 15 meals including staples like rice, beans, canned goods, meats, and bread. They also offer a 'Pick 2' program with hygiene products, medical supplies, diapers, coats, and other essentials, and support over 2,000 individuals with Thanksgiving and Christmas meals.
