El Tesoro Restaurant Expansion at Lee + White: Key Details and FAQs

El Tesoro is expanding to open a new 8,600-square-foot restaurant at Lee + White in Atlanta's West End, moving from its current location within Wild Heaven Brewing to a permanent space in the 1036 Building.

El Tesoro plans to open its new Lee + White location in March.

The restaurant will be located in the 1036 Building at Lee + White, an adaptive reuse development in Atlanta's West End, which previously housed Best End Brewing.

The new location will feature all the food favorites, a large bar, indoor and outdoor seating, big-screen TVs for sporting events, and will aim for a casual but slightly elevated experience beyond a standard taqueria.

According to owner Alan Raines, both El Tesoro and Wild Heaven West End have been successful in their collaboration and are ready for the next phase, with El Tesoro needing a permanent space that provides room for future growth and flexibility to host various events.

Marisa Roy and Patrick Green of Ackerman Retail represented owners Ackerman & Co. and MDH Partners in the lease transaction.

After this expansion, El Tesoro will have three full-service restaurants in Atlanta: the original Edgewood location, a recently announced South Downtown location scheduled to open in spring 2026, and the new Lee + White location.

Eats, a popular meat-and-three restaurant that previously operated on Ponce de Leon, will replace El Tesoro within the Wild Heaven tap room, with Wild Heaven having purchased the Eats brand and targeting a March opening.

Lee + White is a 442,562-square-foot mixed-use development in Atlanta's West End that represents an adaptive reuse transformation of former warehouse row, featuring Atlanta BeltLine frontage, a food hall with 16 eateries, creative office space, healthcare providers, trade schools, retail, and the 'Great Lawn' central gathering space.

Lee + White is accessible via the nearby West End MARTA rail station, all of Atlanta's interstates, and will be a short walk from the planned MARTA station at Murphy Crossing via the Atlanta Westside BeltLine.
