Lahontan Gold Corp. has commenced its maiden drill program at the West Santa Fe project and completed its 2025 Phase Two drilling program at the Santa Fe Mine project.
The drilling aims to twin historic holes and validate a legacy database of 171 drill holes from 1980-1995, which could support future mineral resource estimates.
Twenty reverse-circulation drill holes targeted gold and silver resource expansion at depth and in step-out areas, marking the largest annual drill campaign at Santa Fe since drilling began in 2021.
The programs support plans to update the mineral resource estimate and advance a preliminary economic assessment in 2026, moving the Santa Fe Mine project toward production.
Both projects are located in Nevada's Walker Lane region, which is described as mining friendly.
The Santa Fe Mine has an Indicated Mineral Resource of 1,539,000 oz Au Eq and an Inferred Mineral Resource of 411,000 oz Au Eq, all pit constrained.
